CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
ADJOURNED MEETING
JUNE 10, 1971
COUNCIL MINUTES
INITIATION:
1. Mayor Pro Tem Briggs called the adjourned meeting of the City
Council to order at 7:45 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Councilmen- Briggs, Harker, Merritt, Tyrell
ABSENT: Councilmen - Gilbertson
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Koski, Traffic Commissioner Garver,
Parking Commissioners Clark and Nunamaker
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
3. PUBLIC HEARING (cont.) 7:30 p.m.: Proposed Budget - City
of Temple City, 1971-72
Mayor Pro Tem Briggs advised that this was continued public
hearing on proposed budget for City of Temple City, 1971 -72.
Traffic Commission. John. Garver inquired as to the .status of
those items the Commission had requested, and was advised that
all items except the motorcycle parking enforcement and the
traffic signal interconnect system on Temple City Boulevard
were included in the budget.
Parking Commissioner Nunamaker inquired as to the status of
items that had been requested by the Parking Commission, and
was advised that due to the limitation of funds, signs and
the removal of the ramp and landscaping of planters were not
included in the budget.
ADJOURNMENT:
At 9:15 p.m. Council adjourned to a personnel session. Mayor
Gilbertson arrived at this time.
At 9:30 p.m. Council reconvened, and adjourned to their next
regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 15, 1971, at
7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall.
