ORDINANCE 2005 -12
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF
GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING THE
SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 2006.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the City of Greencastle will pay all eligible employees 26 bi- weekly pays effective with pay period beginning
December 26, 2005 at the below listed rates. That all eligible full -time members of the departments of the City of Greencastle
shall be paid longevity beginning the first date of the anniversary month of the fourth, seventh and twelfth year of service.
Longevity shall be based on 3 %, 4% and 5% respectively, i,e. those personnel in their fourth through sixth year of service shall be
paid a 3% longevity; seventh through eleventh year of service shall be paid 4% and twelve years and over shall be paid 5 %. Full -
time members shall be compensated for authorized overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standard Act, 29 U.S.C.A. 207.
SECTION TWO: That the Police Department shall consist of nineteen (19) full -time members and in addition, five (5) part-time
crossing guards. Base pay ranges including the maximums shall be as follows:
