RESOLUTION NO. 88 -2796
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ADOPTING
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 88 -2.
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City has amended its General Plan
in compliance with applicable portions of the California Govern-
ment Code; and
WHEREAS, the public was noticed and given ample opportunity
to comment on the proposed amended General Plan during public
hearings conducted by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given a recommendation
to the City Council to adopt said General Plan Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a duly noticed public
hearing on July 19, 1988, in accordance with State Law; and
WHEREAS, all testimony and comments received during the
public hearings held by the City have been given due considera-
tion;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
finds that:
1. The Negative Declaration posted and noticed in accor-
dance with State Law has been completed in substantial
compliance with CEQA and it was found that the project
would not have a substantial adverse affect on the
environment and is hereby approved.
2. That all aspects of subsequent zone changes as may be
required as the result of adopting the Amended General
Plan have been discussed and considered in this action
by the City Council and do not require further Environ-
mental Documentation.
3. The General Plan Amendment 88 -2 with its text and maps
are hereby adopted and the attached maps showing areas 1
through 4 shall be incorporated into the Land Use Ele-
ment of the General Plan.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 1988.

I, Chief Deputy City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No.
88 -918 was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Temple City held on the 19th day of July, 1988, and
was duly adopted by said Council at their regular meeting held on
the 2nd day of August, 1988, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Atkins,Breazeal ,Froehle,Gillanders,Swain
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
