The Meeting was called to order at 9 A.M. by Mayor Koch.
Upon motion by Mr. Walker and seconded by Mr. Whittemore the Com-
Mission approved the Minutes of the regular Meeting June 11, 1976.
Financial Report for the Month of June, 1976 was submitted and
accepted by the Commission.
The following summarization of the Police Reports for the month of June
was submitted to the Commission.

Mayor Koch gave a report to the Commission concerning the July 8th
Cooperative Dispatch Center Meeting held in Boca Raton. Copies of the
projected budget for the center was given to members of the Commission
for their review and comments. Mayor Koch pointed out that the larger
municipalities were saving money by this center while the smaller
municipalites would be paying a great deal more. Mayor Koch suggested
the Commission study this report and meet at a later date to determine
a more realistic figure to present to the members of the participating
communities.
Mr. Walker made a motion that the Town of Gulf Stream inform Florida
Power and Light Company to install new 4500 lumen mercury vapor street
lights on Golfview Drive for a trial period to determine whether all
lights in Gulf Stream should be changed on a replacement basis, Mr.
Bettison seconded the motion, motion passed with one dissenting vote
by Mr. Whittemore.

A report on the dumpsite was given with the Town's decision to continue
with the present site until further notice.

GULF STREAM POLICE REPORT
JULY 1976
The Gulf Stream Police Department made 15 arrests.
Judge Martin held Court on July 29th for 15 arrests.
Fines to the amount of $302.00 was levied.
The Police Department also handled 1 traffic accident one first aid, one fire &
one death investigation.
SPECIAL MENTION
On July 4, 1976, Officer Friend was called to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frances Tippit
3555 Polo Drive, Mrs. Tippit was in a state of near fatal collapse, Officer Friend
gave her mouth to mouth resuscitation and cardiac treatment bring her around each
tiem she collapsed. I believe Friend's quick and knowledgeable action saved Mrs.
Tippits life.
