AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
THE INDIANA HOUSING FINANCE AUTHORITY (IHFA) FOUNDATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Indiana Housing Finance Authority (IHFA) Foundation Program has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond desires to submit a grant application to conduct a new housing needs assessment.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The City of Richmond is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Indiana Housing Finance Authority (IHFA) Foundation Program to conduct a new Housing needs assessment.
The City of Richmond is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated to conduct a new housing needs assessment.
Passed and adopted this 16th day of July, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
