Jenicar Builders Contractors Co., Inc. 573 Belgrave Drive Kearney, NJ Star of the Sea Concrete Corp. 448 Marlboro Road Old Bridge, NJ $ 181,465.65 2. $ 208,758.00 3. Defino Contacting Co. 28 Industrial Drive Cliffwood Beach, NJ 07747 $ 195815.39 WHEREAS, Jenicar Builders has submitted the lowest bid for said construction project as evidenced by the response on file with the Borough Purchasing Agent; and WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer for the project, T & M Associates, has reviewed the above bid proposals and has recommended the award of a contract to Jenicar Builders for the alternate bid; and WHEREAS, the chief financial officer has certified that funds are or wi]] be available for said purpose. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret as follows: 1. On March 3, 2005, the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret awarded a contract to you for the Marion Street Reconstruction, Phase II. Contract amount, as awarded, is $181,465.65. Five (5) copies of the Contract Documents accompany this Notice of Award. The time for completion of the work will commence with this Notice of Award. In accordance with Section lB.3.1 of the Contract Documents all work stipulated in the Contract shall be fully completed within sixty (60) calendar days of the date of mailing, by certified mail, or of receipted delivery, by hand or facsimile, of this Notice of Award. The contract completion date is June 18,2005. You must comply with the following conditions: 1. You must deliver to the Engineer, five (5) copies of the contract documents properly executed by you. 2. You must deliver to the Engineer, an original and four (4) copies of the Performance Security required by lB.9. The Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification required by PL.1995, c.384 must be attached to all Security Bonds. Note: Date of Bond must not be prior to date of Contract execution by Principal (Contractor).
