RESOLUTION NO. 88 -2818
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A RESOLUTION OF
THE TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RELAT-
ING TO THE HEARING ON A SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT REPORT; CONSENTING TO HOLD A JOINT SPECIAL
PUBLIC HEARING THEREON BY THE AGENCY AND THE CITY
COUNCIL; SETTING A DATE FOR SUCH HEARING; AND PROVID-
ING FOR THE GIVING OF NOTICE THEREOF
WHEREAS, The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Temple City (the "Agency ") has prepared a Draft Environmental
Impact Report for Block A of the Rosemead Blvd. Redevelopment
Temple City. Project and transmitted said documents to the
Planning Commission for its comment and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the Draft Environmental Impact Report has been
submitted to the appropriate County and State agencies for
review, comment, and report pursuant to the California Redevel-
opment Law and the California Environmental Quality Act of
1970, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has requested a joint public hearing
on the Draft Environmental Impact Report by the Council of the
City of Temple City and the Temple City Community Redevelopment
Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City
does hereby receive the Draft Environmental Impact Report.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Temple City
hereby consents to a joint special public hearing with the
Agency to consider certification of the Draft Environmental
Impact Report and further, hereby establishes the time, date,
and place for said public hearing a 7:30 P.M. on November 15,
1988, in the Council Chambers, City of Temple City, 9701 Las
Tunas Drive, Temple City, CA 91780.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City, in
cooperation with the Executive Director of the Agency, shall:
a) Publish the notice of said joint special public hear-
ing once not less than ten (10) days prior to said
public hearing in the Temple City Times, said publica-
tion being a newspaper of general circulation within
the Temple City community.
b) Post copies of said notice at the Council Chambers and
County Library in the City of Temple City.

SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall forthwith transmit a copy of this Resolution to the
Agency.
