Bal Harbour Police and Bal Harbour Rotary Club Sk Race/Walk
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to inform you of the upcoming 5k Run/Walk hosted by the Bal Harbour Rotary Club (BHRC) and the Bal Harbour Police Department (BHPD). The 5k Race/Walk will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at southeast corner of Hau lover Park, 10800 Collins Avenue, at 8:00 am.
All proceeds of this event will benefit The Chief Mark N. Overton & Chief Miguel De La Rosa Memorial Legacy Scholarship Fund. As you may recall, this fund is utilized to create scholarships for individuals pursuing careers in law enforcement. The scholarships cover tuition up to $5,000 for the selected candidates to attend a local police academy in MiamiDade or Broward County.
