Gulf Stream, FL 33483 Dear Ms. Taylor: I am writing on behalf of the Palm Beach County Chapter 148, INSTITUTE OF FINANCIAL EDUCATION. The Institute provides multi- level professional and educational programs for financial industry personnel. In Palm Beach County, the Chapter offers courses, management educational and correspondence study programs, in -house training and topical seminars. For the past seven years in Palm Beach County, our Chapter and financial institutions have sponsored TELLER APPRECIATION WEEK the last week of January. The purpose of this event is to honor those employees whose duties are vital to our industry and who often times go unrecognized. The TELLER APPRECIATION WEEK ANNUAL BANQUET will be held January 26th, 1994 to honor these employees and announce the winner of the Teller of the Year Award. On a national level, we seek support in making this a nationwide event so that tellers throughout the country receive the credit and recognition we believe they deserve. At the local level, we seek the support of municipalities in Palm Beach County by proclaiming January 24th- 28th,1994, TELLER APPRECIATION WEEK. The proclamation can be mailed to me at the above address. If notified, we can arrange for a financial institution representative in your area to pick it up or be present at your next meeting to accept it. Proclamations received will be displayed at the banquet. Suggested text is enclosed. We appreciate your consideration of this request and ask to hear from you by November 30, 1993.
