CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JANUARY 19, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the January 19, 2021 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
Due to COVID-19/social distancing recommendations, the meeting was held virtually
and streamed live on Facebook.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber, Ward, and
Wiseman
Absent: Hussey and Vogt
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Hussey will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Kristi Campbell, Director of Cole County Health Department and Mayor Tergin
will provide a pandemic update.
- Fire Chief Matt Schofield and Mayor Tergin will recognize City retiree, Robert
Kuster.
Appointments
- Gail Strope, Human Resources Director, will present the recommended
appointments.
Consent Agenda Items
- There were no questions at this time.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their respective introduced bill.
Councilmember Hussey joined the meeting at 5:47 P.M.

- City Staff presented their respective pending bill.
