Proclaiming July 23, 1997, as
E. SCOTT HARRINGTON DAY
in the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida,
in recognition of the 6 years of outstanding and dedicated service
given by E. Scott Harrington to the Town of Gulf Stream.
WHEREAS, the Gulf Stream Town Commission wisely selected E. Scott Harrington
as Town Manager on August 29, 1991; and
WHEREAS, E. Scott Harrington has honorably served the Town of Gulf Stream in
innumerable capacities over the past 6 years, including the positions of Town Manager,
Zoning Administrator and Planning Director; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Gulf Stream and its residents have immeasurably benefited
from the services performed by E. Scott Harrington; and
WHEREAS, those who have worked with E. Scott Harrington at the Town of Gulf
Stream also have benefited from his professionalism, caring, charm, wit and sense of humor;
WHEREAS, E. Scott Harrington will be sorely missed by residents and employees
alike of the Town of Gulf Stream who wish him well in all future endeavors; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Gulf Stream wishes to express its sincere gratitude to E.
Scott Harrington for his exceptional efforts on the Town's behalf.
NOW THEREFORE, I, William F. Koch, Jr., Mayor of the Town of Gulf Stream,
Palm Beach County, Florida, do hereby proclaim July 23, 1997, as E. Scott Harrington Day in
the Town of Gulf Stream in recognition of the 6 years of outstanding and dedicated service
given by E. Scott Harrington to the Town of Gulf Stream.
