Proclaiming the week of October 6, 1991 as
RESPIRATORY CARE WEEK
WHEREAS, the health and welfare of our citizens is
the top priority of the Florida Society for Respiratory Care
which seeks the support of all of our community members; and
WHEREAS, Respiratory Care is an allied health specialty
used in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of patients with
deficiencies or abnormalities of the Cardiopulmonary system; and
WHEREAS, the services offered by Respiratory Therapists
and Technicians, as licensed by the State of Florida, are vital
to the health and well -being of our Citizens; and
WHEREAS, The Florida Society for Respiratory Care, as an
affiliate of the American Association for Respiratory Care,
represents our Respiratory Care Practitioners in the State of
Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, William F. Koch, Jr. Mayor of the
Town of Gulf Stream, Florida do hereby proclaim the week beginning
October 6, 1991 as
RESPIRATORY CARE WEEK
in the Town of Gulf Stream and call upon all citizens to join
in recognizing the services of Respiratory Care Practitioners
to the health care of mankind, their dedication to the delivery of
their specialized services, and the expansion of their Professional
Organizations.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
caused the Seal of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida to be affixed
this 13th day of September, 1991.

in recognizing the important contributions made by our
Respiratory Care Practitioners to the health care Profession.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
FLORIDA, that this Proclamation, duly backed and ribboned,
and executed by the members of this Board, be presented to
the Florida Society for Respiratory Care, Chapter Three.
The foregoing Proclamation was sponsored by the
Commissioner , upon affirmative vote of the
Board, the declared Proclamation was duly enacted.
