ORDINANCE EXCLUDING VEHICLES OVER DESIGNATED
WEIGHT FROM CERTAIN STREETS
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of
Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows: '
Section 1.
VEIDCLES OVER DESIGNATED WEIGHT EXCLUDED FROM CERTAIN STREETS

Vehicles over the gross weight (GVW) are hereby excluded from the streets or parts of
streets described except for the pick up and delivery of materials on such streets.

Section 2. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provisions of
this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of any such
inconsistencies.
Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of till s Ordinance shall be
declared invalid by judgement of any Court of competent juri~.diction, the section,
subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able !Tom the remainder of
this Ordinance.
Section 4. This drdinance shall take effect upon passage and publication according to
'__ applicable law and up:m approval by the New Jersey Commissioner of Transportation.

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the

MUnicipal Court/Police Facility, 230 Roosevelt Ave-
nue, Carteret, New Jersey at which time and place
aU persons interested will be given an opportunity
to be heard.
