A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A RESOLUTION OF THE
TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
RELATING TO THE HEARING ON A DISPOSITION AND
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND REPORT; CONSENTING
TO HOLD A JOINT SPECIAL PUBLIC HEARING
THEREON BY THE AGENCY AND THE CITY COUNCIL;
SETTING A DATE FOR SUCH HEARING; AND PROVID-
ING FOR THE GIVING OF NOTICE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the Temple City Community Redevelopment Agency (the
"Agency ") is preparing a Disposition and Development Agreement
with Champion /LBS Associates Development Company (hereinafter
referred to as the "Developer ") regarding the acquisition, dispo-
sition, and development of real property within Parcel A of the
Rosemead Boulevard Redevelopment Project (the "Project "), as said
Parcel A is shown in the Redevelopment Plan for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Agency is preparing a report as required by
Health and Safety Code Section 33433 which will be available for
public inspection; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has requested a joint public hearing on
the Disposition and Development Agreement and Report by the
Council of the City of Temple City and the Temple City Community
Redevelopment Agency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of the City of
Temple City hereby consents to a joint special public hearing
with the Agency to consider the Disposition and Development
Agreement between the Developer and the Agency and the Agency's
Report and further, hereby establishes the time, date, and place
for said public hearing at 7:30 p.m., on January 17, 1989, in the
Council Chambers, City of Temple City, 5938 North Kauffman
Avenue, Temple City, CA 91780.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City in
cooperation with the Executive Director of the Agency, shall:
a) Publish the notice of said joint special public hearing
after receipt of the Disposition and Development Agree-
ment and Agency Report at least two successive weeks
beginning not less than two weeks prior to said public
hearing in the Temple City Times, said publication being
a newspaper of general circulation within the Temple
City community.

b) Post copies of said notice in the Council Chambers and
County Library in the City of Temple City.
c) Mail copies of said notice to the owners of real pro-
perty within the boundaries of Parcel A of the Rosemead
Boulevard Redevelopment Project.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
forthwith transmit a copy of this Resolution to the Agency.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 1988.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution, Resolution
No. 88 -2826 was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of
Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of December,
1988, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman- Atkins, Breazeal ,Froehle,Gillanders,Swain
NOES: Councilman -None
