RESOLUTION NO. 88 -2827
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING AN ALLOCA-
TION AND PAYMENT OF COUNTY AID -TO- CITIES
FUNDS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF SELECT SYSTEM
STREETS
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain
monies to the City of Temple City as County Aid -to- Cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of
$33,651.00 of said funds accrued to the City of Temple City for the
maintenance of streets on the City's approved Select System.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
resolves that:
1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate
$33,651.00 of the Aid -to- Cities funds apportioned to the
City for the maintenance of those streets on the currently
approved Select System of Streets (excluding State High-
ways), on file with the California Department of Transpor-
tation, and incorporated herein by reference.
2. After the allocation is approved by the Board of Supervi-
sors and funds are available, the County is requested to
send such allocated amount to the City. The City will
begin using the funds for the street maintenance according
to the terms of the allocation.
3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of
this Resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Commis-
sioner for processing.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 1988.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution, Resolution No.
88 -2827, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City
at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of December, 1988, by the
following vote:
