ORDINANCE API'ROPRlATING $900,000.00 FOR THE CREATION AND/OR
REHABILITATION OF UNITS OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME
HOUSING I" AND BY THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, IN THE
COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY
BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. $900,000.00 is hereby appropriated, all of which is to be received from
the Township of North Bnmswick (the "Township") pursuant to the Regional
Contribution Agreerr,ent between the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") and the
Township as approved by the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing for the creation
and/or rehabilitation (lfcnits of low and moderate income housing in the Borough.
Section 2. The capital budget of the Borough is hereby amended to conform with
the provisions of th s ordinance to the extent of any inconsistency herewith. The
resolution in the form promulgated by the Local Finance Board showing full detail of the
amended capital budget and capital program as approved by the Director of the Division
of Local Government Services is on file with the Clerk and is available there for public
inspection.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect as provided by the Jaw.
