HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 05-22 No. 05-22 ®ràhm1tt~ ú£ tq~ lßl1rúugq ú£ Q1art~rd, ~ ~ JJ ~ Councilman Presents the following Ordinance Seconded by Councilman AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING SECTION 160-67A OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET BE, IT ORDAINED by the Mayor of Carteret of the Borough of Carteret that section 160-67A is hereby amended and supplemented to include the following additional provisions. 160-67A - Plot Plan I and 2 Family Dwellings without Planning or Zoning Board Approvals A) Purpose - A plot plan is required to achieve the following: 3. Record all essential dimensions and bearing as deemed necessary by the Board Engineer. B) Scope - The following regulations shall apply to all I and 2 family dwellings for which no relief is required ITom the Board of Adjustment or the Planning Board: I. Applicant shall submit to the Construction Code Official at the time of application two (2) detailed drawings, signed and sealed by an engineer licensed in the State of New Jersey, containing the following information: a. Plot Plan. b. Elevations shown for first floor and garage floor, if applicable. c. Basement elevation with minimum elevation one (I) foot above the delineated IOO-year flood plain elevation. d. Spot elevations shown at the corners of all structures e. Proposed contours shown. f. Minimum 2% slope away from all structures g. Location of water and sanitary sewer services shown. h. Street trees shown. 1. Driveway, driveway apron, sidewalks and all other proposed improvements and their details shown j. Copy of Borough Engineer's sanitary sewer connection approval shown. 2. Applicant shall submit a current boundary and topographic survey signed and sealed by a licensed New Jersey surveyor. No05-22 PAGE 2 of 2 3. Applicant shall submit a professional engineering escrow fee of $450.00 for the review and inspection by the Board of Adjustment/Planning Board Engineer. 4. The Board of AdjustmentIPlanning Board Engineer shall review and comment in writing on each Plot Plan submitted within ten (10) business days of receipt to the Borough of Carteret Construction Code Official. 5. Applicant must submit as-built plans to the Construction Code Official for review by the Board of AdjustmentIPlanning Board Engineer. The approval of as built plans by the Board of Adjustment/Planning Board Engineer shall be a requirement for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. Section 1. All Ordinances and/or provlSlons thereof inconsistent with the provision of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of any such inconsistencies. 11 Section2. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the section, subsectic n, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able ITom the remainder of ihis Ordinance. The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a meet- Ing of the Council of the Borough of Carteret held March 31. 2005 when it was adopted on First Reading. The said ordinance will be further consid- ered on Second Reading for final adoption at a meeting of said Council of the Borough of Carteret on Apríl 21, 2005 at approximately 7:00 P.M., Mu- nicipal Court/Police facility, 230 Roosevelt Avenue.
