Presents the following Ordinance Seconded by Councilman
AMENDING & SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 235 ENTITLED
"TAXICABS" OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret (the
"Borough") as follows:
Section 1
§235-4 (G), "License term; fees" is hereby amended as follows:
The license fee for a taxicab owner's license shall be to one
hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per year.
Section 2
The fleet owner's license fee shall be two hundred dollars
($200.00) and the per vehicle fee shall be twenty five dollars
($25.00) for each vehicle. The fee for transfer of a license from
one vehicle to another shall be to twenty five doJlars ($25.00).
§235-5 (A)(3) "Licensing of taxicab drivers" is hereby amended as
follows:
The application fee for a taxicab driver's license shall be twenty
five dollars ($25.00).
Section 3 All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of any such inconsistency.
Section 4 If any section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only to the section,
paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision so adjudged and the remainder of this
ordinance shall be deemed valid and effective.
Section 5 This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication
according to applicable law.

ENTITLED "TAXICABS" OF THE CODE OF

BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Coun-
cil of the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") as
follows:
Section 1
