Presents the following Ordinance Seconded by Councilman

AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 179, ARTICLE II, ENTITLED
"PARK AND RIDE PARKING LOTS" OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough ofCarteret (the
"Borough") as follows: that Chapter 179 Article II entitled "Park and Ride Parking Lots"
of the Code of the Borough ofCarteret is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1
§179-6 "Fee schedule," is hereby deleted in its entirety and shall be
replaced with the following:
§179-6 Fee Schedule,
There is hereby established a fee schedule for the following Park
and Ride Parking Lots: Driftway and Roosevelt Avenue; Terminal
Avenl,le and Roosevelt Avenue; Pershing Avenue and Harris
Street; and Pershing Avenue and Noe Street
A Carteret Residents: $200 per annum,
R Non-Cmieret Residents: $325 per annum
Section 2 All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of any such inconsistency,
Section 3 If any section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only to the section,
paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision so adjudged and the remainder of this
ordinance shall be deemed valid and effective,
Section 4 This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication
according to applicable law,
