Presents the following Ordinance Seconded by Councilman
AMENDING & SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 71 ENTITLED
"ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES" OF THE CODE
OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret (the
"Borough") that the Code ofthe Borough is hereby amended and supplements as follows:
Section 1
§7l-l7. "Hours of Sale and Consumption" is hereby amended to
add the following paragraphs:
F. Any holder of a plenary retail consumption or plenary retail
distribution license shall be required to keep his/her licensed
premises open for a minimum of fifty (50) hours and six (6) days
rrom Monday to Sunday, inclusive, for the consumption and/or
sale of alcoholic beverages on the licensed premises.
Section 2
All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of any
such inconsistency.
Section 3
If any section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only
to the section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision so
adjudged and the remainder of this ordinance shall be deemed
valid and effective.
Section 4
This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication
according to applicable law.

cil of the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") that
the Code of the Borough is hereby amended and
supplements as follows:
