Presents the following Ordinance Seconded by Councilman
AMENDING & SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 243 ENTITLED
"TRAILER PARKS" OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough ofCarteret (the
"Borough") that Chapter 243 entitled "Trailer Parks" is hereby amended and
supplemented as follows:
Section 1
§243-6 "License fee" is hereby amended and supplemented as
follows:
The annual license fee for each trailer park shall be increased from
Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) to Three Thousand Dollars
($3,000.00) for each block of one hundred (100) trailer spaces or
fraction thereof.
The per trailer fee shall be increased from Sixty Dollars ($60.00)
per year or part thereof to Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).
The foregoing increases shal1 be effective for the 2005 - 2006
renewal year and thereafter.
Section 2
All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of any
such inconsistency.
Section 3
If any section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision ofthis
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only
to the section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision so
adjudged and the remainder of this ordinance shall be deemed
valid and effective.
Section 4
This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication
according to applicable law.
