showcase the City to other Parks & Recreation Departments.

audience and involved with the City and the senior citizens. She
wants to get interns to work with the shut-ins in the City. She is
concerned about a 100-year old senior that she sees sitting outside
on her porch daily. Commissioner Harper has suggested to the
senior that she should go to the Senior Center to cool off.
Commissioner Harper stated that she doesn't know much about
sports but she's learning.
Vice Chairperson Gutierrez -She thanks God for the good news that
the Angeles Fields project is gone. vice Chairperson Gutierrez
suggests that since many famous people (musicians, sports figures)
come through the City of Lynwood for special events, that we should
get their signatures on a big the plaque. The the could also include a
small photo of the famous person. This could be hung in the
Community Center for all to see. Chairperson Wood stated that
there is a Wall of Fame for sports in the Community Center but he
