1. Introductions:
Chairman Rycyk called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m., and a quorum was present.
2. Adoption of the agenda:
A motion was made by Mr. Rycyk move the invited guest presentation to the beginning of the agenda. Mr. Thurnau
seconded the motion and all were in favor.
3. Approval of the minutes:
A motion was made by Mr. Propes to approve the minutes and was seconded by Mr. Shorthose. All were in favor
and the minutes were approved.

5. Invited Guest:
Stacey Button with REDI gave a brief presentation of the proposed changes for the Columbia airport.
6. Scheduled Reports:
a) Airport Manager’s Report
Mr. Craft handed out the traffic count and posters for the Barnstormer tour. He also stated there will be a
meeting with our consultant, Jviation, on June 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at the airport.
b) FBO Report – JC Flying Service
Mr. Shorthose stated the flight school is going well and they are looking for additional aircraft.

c) Staff Liaison Report
Mr. Smith stated there had been some pavement issues at the Highway Patrol hanger, but we were able to take
care of it in house.
d) City Council Report
Councilman Mihalevich was not present.

Mr. Shorthose moved to adjourn meeting at 11:33 a.m., seconded by Mr. Propes. All were in favor. Meeting
adjourns.
