1. Introductions:
Chairman Rycyk called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m., and a quorum was present.
2. Adoption of the agenda:
A motion was made by Mr. Shorthose to adopt the agenda. Mr. Thurnau seconded the motion and all were in favor.
3. Approval of the minutes:
A motion was made by Mr. Bening to approve the minutes and was seconded by Mr. Thurnau. All were in favor and
the minutes were approved.

a) Airport Manager’s Report
Mr. Craft stated that the Barnstormer tour turnout was great; a little more than 700 people took flights. He also
noted that the airport master plan is still being worked on.
b) FBO Report – JC Flying Service
Mr. Shorthose stated that the summer was great for JC Flying Service. They are in the process of doing
construction at the airport for the flight school. The construction is going well, and should be done by 10/1/18.
c) Staff Liaison Report
September 10, 2018
Mr. Smith had a big announcement and told the committee that the Salute to America airshow will be moved to
the Jefferson City Memorial Airport. More information will come out at a later date.
d) City Council Report
Councilman Mihalevich was not present.

Mr. Shorthose moved to adjourn meeting at 11:21 a.m., seconded by Mr. Propes. All were in favor. Meeting
