1. Introductions:
Chairman Rycyk called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m., and a quorum was present. There were no guests present.
2. Adoption of the agenda:
A motion was made by Mr. Shorthose to approve the agenda and seconded by Mr. Naught. All were in favor and
agenda was approved.
3. Approval of the minutes:
A motion was made by Mr. Naught to approve the minutes and was seconded by Mr. Shorthose. All were in favor
and the minutes were approved.
4. Public Comment Opportunity:
None
5. Invited Guest:
None
6. Scheduled Reports:
a) Airport Manager’s Report
Mr. Craft handed out the flight count for the airport. He said the American Barnstormer tour had contacted
him about coming back in July 2018, more information for come at a later date.
Hertz car rental has left the airport, and the space is vacant for now.
Mr. Craft was contacted by the MO Airport Managers would like to put the Airport Managers Hall of Fame in
our terminal.

Warranty work needs to be done on the runway; at this time there is no word on when it will be complete. It
will require a 2-5 day closure
b) FBO Report – JC Flying Service
Mr. Shorthose stated he is looking for a flight instructor.
c) Staff Liaison Report
Mr. Smith stated it was budget time. He plans to meet with Ron to assess the airport needs for the upcoming
fiscal year.
d) City Council Report
Councilman Mihalevich was not present.

Mr. Rycyk and Mr. Shorthose attended a Public Works and Planning meeting and talked about the airport.
