1. Introductions:
Chairman Rycyk called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m., and a quorum was present.
2. Adoption of the agenda:
A motion was made by Mr. Shorthose to approve the agenda and seconded by Mr. Benning. All were in favor and
agenda was approved.
3. Approval of the minutes:
A motion was made by Mr. Benning to approve the minutes and was seconded by Mr. Shorthose All were in favor
and the minutes were approved.

6. Scheduled Reports:
a) Airport Manager’s Report
Mr. Craft handed out the flight count for the airport and stated the traffic has held steady, even with the closure,
however jet traffic is down. The airport has a snow plan in writing, but they are in the process of modifying it .

b) FBO Report – JC Flying Service
Mr. Shorthose said that they have been towing the aircraft from the south hanger, during the construction and
they have no problem doing so. Feel free to ask if you need assistance.
The FBO is still working on becoming 141 flight school certified. They are looking at adding a flight instructor
and aircraft.
c) Staff Liaison Report
Mr. Smith thanked everyone for being patient while the airport was under construction, especially Mr. Craft.
He congratulated Mr. Craft on receiving his service award.
He stated that we are trying to refrain from using any chemicals on the new runway, but we will if it is
necessary.
Columbia Regional Airport:
Mr. Smith said the Columbia airport is in the process of surveying their customers to see what they can do to
make their airport and services better.

Mr. Rycyk made a motion to add a City Council report to the agenda so we can all keep up with what is going
on with the City. Mr. Shorthose seconded the motion, all were in favor.

Mr. Shorthose moved to adjourn meeting at 11:16 a.m., seconded by Mr. Naught. All were in favor. Meeting
adjourns.
