HomeMy Public PortalAbout056-2001 - Rezoning - 200 blk of N 9th St.ORDINANCE NO. 56 - 2001 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REZONING AT 637 SOUTH 9TH STREET WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates and describes the property at 637 South 9th Street, as R-3 District with variances (BZA 82-21 and BZA 12-1998); and WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the zoning designation to a C-2 District to allow current use as auto exhaust system service, but with more flexibility to upgrade and/or alter business. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the property at 637 South 9th Street, and more particularly described below is hereby changed to a C-2 District: Part of Lot (3) of certain out lots as laid out by Ezekiel L. Cleaver, being a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 13, Range 1 West, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of South Ninth Street 117.83 feet North of the intersection of the north line of “G” and the east line of South Ninth Street; thence in an easterly direction parallel to the north line of “G” distance of 120.27 feet, more or less, to an alley; thence south along the west side of said alley 117.83 feet, more or less to the north line of “G” Street; thence west long the north line of “G” Street to the east line of South Ninth Street; thence North along the east line of South Ninth Street to the pace of beginning, all being situated in Wayne County, Indiana.
