HomeMy Public PortalAbout10/19/1962 Special CCM198 SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MEDINA OCTOBER 16,1962 Meeting called to order at 8 PM. Council members present, Gertz, Arens, Scott and Roehl. Boyer permit to move house was discussed, as Mr. Mueller did not sign the pettion to move the house the council felt he should be present to state his objections XXX16MU19MUXAMMIK if any. Motion by R Roehl to recind previous motion of the Regular meeting in regard this permit and to grant Mrs Boyer a permit to move her home onto property on county Road # 19, amendment by Gertz, pzm$ieeleas follows, provided she does not attempt to establish a dump on this property, second by Herb Arens, motion carred. Motion by Herb Arens to grant Geo Gubbins a special use permit to build a house and barn on his proprty Peter Lake, second by R Roehl, motion carried. Motion by Arthur Gertz to grant a special use permit to Stanly Wessen to mave a substandard house onto his property provided th house has a finished walk out basement and provided no special is dug for this house, second by R Roehl, motion carried. Motion by H Arens to adopt resolution to Councy Board on redistricting, 2nd by A thug: Gertz, motion carried. Motion by Herbert Arens to set $36,051.00 levy for the 1963 budget, second by Arthur Gertz, motion carried. Motion by H Arens to adjourn, 2nd by Arthur Gertz, motion carried. PM all council members present Motion by Harold Winterhalter to grant Medina Sales a building permit provided it complys with the ordinance, second by Arthur Gertz, motion carried. Attorny Hedlund read the court order on the Boyer garbage case. An Ordinace regulationg dumping was discussed and read. Motion by Arthur Gertz to adopt an Ordinance to Regulate and control the disposal et and Dumping of gargage, refuse and other trash in the Village of Medina, providing penalties for the violation of this ordinance relation to dumps, Second by Harold Winterhalter, Motion carried.
