Resolution Approving a Mowing Exemption Permit
WHEREAS, the City has established Ordinance 49.07 Application for Exception Permit that may be
initiated by a property owner or the property owner's authorized agent by filing an application with the
City Clerk (or Public Works Operations Manager) upon the form prescribed as such; and,
WHEREAS, the application shall be accompanied by a site plan and other such plans and data showing
the dimensions, descriptive data, seed content, and other materials constituting a record essential to and
understanding of the proposed use of the area in question; and,
WHEREAS, while Council is authorized to set, and the application could be accompanied by, a fee as
determined by resolution of the City Council, a permit fee is not recommended at this time; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Mowing Exemption Permit application is hereby made a part of this Resolution;
and,
WHEREAS, no funding source is required for this action.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:
Section 1. The attached Mowing Exemption Permit is approved for use as of the date of this
Resolution.
Section 2. No permit fee is authorized at this time.

the City.
