Subject: Request for Grant of Location, Summer Street and Bellevue Road
Attached are two requests for a grant of location, one from RCN for 20 Sommer Street, and
one from Nstar for 1S2 Bellevue Road.
The first request by Waveguide on behalf of RCN is to install two 4 inch conduits a distance
of 22 feet from pole 134/2A to an existing RCN manhole. This will provide service to the
project at 20 Summer Street.
The second request is by Nstar to install approximately 6 feet of conduit from pole #12/9
on Bellevue Road to the property line in order to provide service to a new garage.
Both of these requests have been reviewed and approved by the Superintendent of Public
Works and Community Development and Planning. The details of the requests are
contained in the attachment.
Therefore, I would respectfully request this item be placed on the agenda of the Honorable
Town Council for their consideration.

Grant of Location — Summer Street
Please be advised that I have approved a petition submitted by Waveguide, Inc.
on behalf of RCN to lay, maintain and operate underground conduits, with cables
to be placed therein, under the surface of the following public way:
On Summer Street, in the sidewalk, from a proposed utility pole, 134/2A
(relocated pole 134/3) to an existing RCN manhole, two (2) 4-inch PVC conduits,
approximately 22 feet in length.
All conduits are to be placed at an approximate depth of 24 inches and in
accordance the requirements of the Town's Department of Public Works.
