On September 7, 2004 the Coastside Protection Program became official and the
Mid ninsula Regional Open Space District's(MROSD)boundary was extended to the Pacific
Ocean
from the City of Pacifica to the Santa Cruz County line. MROSD has seven elected
Board members each representing a geographic area,or'ward",with approximately the same
MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL number of residents.Now,4 is necessary to redraw the wards in order to democratically repre-
sent coasts de residents who became constituents when the boundary was extended.Please
