NAT Definition
Every computer connected to the Internet needs an IP address, however, IP addresses are becoming very scarce. If a customer is
only using the Internet for surfing and checking E-Mails, rather than using real IP addresses, the Efficient Router can assign private
"fake" IP addresses to the customer's PCs. Those private IP addresses are translated into a public IP address in the Efficient route
and sent onto the Internet.
r
Full Install Definition
Business Class Full Installation includes premise visit by tech, installation of router (usually in data closet), configuration of IP
addresses and required settings and test of connectivity. Business Class Install does not include configuration of customer's Local
Area Network or individual PCs. Any LAN configurations should be done by the customer themselves, their LAN vendor or directly
requestel of CompUSA technician onsite.
J
Customer Router
Frontier will provide an Efficient Networks 5861 Router to all Business DSL customers. This router will remain property of Frontier, and
the customer will have no access into it to change configurations. However, should any problems arise with the router at anytime,
Frontier will replace it at no charge to the customer. Upon cancellation of service, a technician will be dispatched to retrieve the router.
If the router is not retrieved, or is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the customer will be charged $300.
Applications:
Internet Surfing for entire office NAT works well with this application
Hosting Webserver or E-Mail server. A block of real IP addresses is needed. Ask customer how many IPs they require.
Virtual Private Network. Usually, a real IP address is needed. Ask customer how many IPs they require.
Video Conferencing. A block of real IP addresses is needed.
Point -of -Sale Credit Card processing. A block of real IPs is needed. Refer customer to www.vitallink.com for more information.

We have a Business Equipment Rental Agreement and a Digital Centrex Service Agreement. The Business
Equipment Rental Agreement states we will rent the equipment for 36 months which was up October 26, 2002.
The only charge on cancellation is if we would have cancelled before the 36 months were up. The Digital Centrex
Service Agreement term is for 3yrs from the In -Service -Date. Upon expiration the service will be month to month.
To terminate this agreement we need to give 30 days written notice.
