CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, MARCH 1, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the March 1, 2021 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
Due to COVID-19/social distancing recommendations, the meeting was held virtually
and streamed live on Facebook.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber,
Vogt, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Hensley will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Kristi Campbell, Director of Cole County Health Department and Mayor Tergin
will provide a pandemic update.
- Honorable Brian Stumpe will be recognized for his years of service to the
City.
- Dan Ross will be recognized for recently retiring as the Director of MML.
Presentations from Staff, Consultants & Invited Guests
- Mayor Tergin will request a motion to amend the agenda to add a
presentation from Fire Captain Jason Turner related to Weather Awareness
Week.
