A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLEC-
TION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989 -90
WITHIN THE, CITY -WIDE LIGHTING MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND
LIGHTING ACT OF 1972.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City did on
the 16th of May, 1989, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 89 -2862
to levy and collect assessments for fiscal year 1989 -90 within the
City -Wide Lighting Maintenance District, which Resolution No.
89 -2862 was duly and legally published in the time, form and manner
as required by law, shown by the Proof of Publication of said Reso-
lution of Intention on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received considered
evidence, oral and documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts in
this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the contemplated
work and the benefits to be derived therefrom, and said City Council
having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed assessment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Temple City hereby;
SECTION 1. Approves the report filed by the Engineer; and
SECTION 2. Be it further resolved that the public interest
and convenience requires the ordering of the levy and collection of
assessments for fiscal year 1989 -90, and said City Council hereby
orders levy and collection of assessments within the City -Wide
Lighting Maintenance District, as set forth and described in said
Resolution No. 89 -2862 be done and made; and
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved that the adoption of this
Resolution constitutes the levy of the assessments as set forth in
the Engineer's Report for the fiscal year 1989 -90;
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to file a certified copy of the diagram and assessment with the
County Auditor of the County of Los Angeles not later than the third
Monday in August.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.

at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of June, 1989, by the
