Dogs Have Their Day at AV Symington Aquatic Center on
Saturday, September 10, 2016
Leesburg, VA (August 15, 2016) – Calling all dogs! Have
your person bring you to the pool to enjoy a swim and
play off-leash.
The 8th annual Dog Swim will be at the AV Symington
Aquatic Center in Leesburg’s Ida Lee Park on Saturday,
September 10, 2016. The pool will be open for the dog-
only swim from 10am to 2pm.
All dogs must be at least 6 months old, legally licensed,
vaccinated, and wearing visible dog licenses. Dog
handlers must be 16 years or older and are limited to two
dogs each. Handlers are responsible for their dogs and
no food is allowed. Children under 10 years old will need to remain in the snack area of the
pool deck.
The fee is $5.00 per dog payable at the front entrance. Registration is currently available online
through WebTrac or by visiting the front desk at Ida Lee Recreation Center. Walk-up
registration on the day of the event is welcome as well. For more information, please visit
