Grobe Treasurer Bernerd J. Harms City Attorney T. J. Heronimus City Engineer Hollis Ryken Maintenance & Police Employees Aeilt Terfehn, Rick Penning, Frank Hippen The appointments were approved on a motion by Huisman, seconded by Van Deest. Carried. On a motion by Cordes, seconded by Heinrich the following salaries were approved: Clerk $135 per month.; Treasurer $155 per year; Penning $650 per month; Hippen $60U per month; Terfehn $180 per month. Motion carried. Moved by Fairbanks, seconded by Huisman that the Peoples Savings Bank be the official depository for city funds. Carried. Carried. r e Mbyor Clerk The Wellsburg Town Council met in regdlap'session on February 3, 1975, with Mayor Hippen presiding and Cciuncilmen Heinrich, Fairbanks, Cordes, and Van Deest present. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved on a motion by Van Deest, seconded by Cordes. Carried. Heinrich moved, Fairbanks seconded allowance of the following bills for payment: 257 Net salaries $1174.51 Wellsburg Oil Co., gas & oil 300.12 Kliebenstein & Heronimus, 1975 retainer fee 125.00 & drafting parking ordinance State Hygienic Lab., water & sewer analyses 34.00 Peoples Savings Bank, safety deposit box rent 2.00 Cordes Plbg. & Heating, gas heater & supplies 565.76 Peoples Savings Bank, payroll taxes -January 210.90 Lindaman Lbr. Co., lumber & paint 40.71 Grundy Co. Landfill Comm., landfill 204.21 Brown Supply Co., calcium chloride 265.00 United Telephone Co., toll calls 7.84 Iowa Electric Light & Power, utilities 1033.97 The treasurer's report for December & January was approved as read on a motion by Fairbanks, seconded by Van Deest. Carried. Moved by Cordes, seconded by Heinrich to approve the renewal of a liquor and beer permit for Wallace Deters dba Wellsburg Tap. Carried. There being no further business, Fairbanks moved, Heinrich seconded adjournment. Carried. Mayor Clerk The Wellsburg Town Council met in re lar ession on March 3, 1975s with Mayor Hippen presiding and all council members present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on a motion by Vlan Deest, seconded by Cordes. Carried. Fairbanks moved, Heinrich seconded allowance of the following bills for payment: Net salaries $1025.34 Rick Penning, mileage expense 33.65 Aeilt Terfehn, mileage expense 8.40 A. Y. McDonald Mfg. Co., fire hydrants 1141.20 Wellsburg Fire Dept., fire calls, meetings & expenses 516.86 Hooker Supply Co., helmets, shields, gloves for fire department 610.00 Fidlar & Chambers, traffic tickets 20.17 B & B Auto Sales, parts & labor 64.07 Wellsburg Herald, budget and proceedings & claims 86.97 Grundy Co. Landfill, landfill 204.21 Martin -Marietta, sand 17.38 Iowa Valley Comm. College, firemanship training 100.00 United Telephone Co., toll calls 6.63 Iowa Electric Light & Power, utilities 1084.35 The treasurer's report was approved as read on a motion by Huisman, seconded by Van Deest. Carried. There being no objections or objectors to the proposed budget for the fiscal year 1975-76, Huisman moved, Heinrich seconded adoption of the proposal.
