REQUEST FOR FUNDING TO THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
FROM THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS
ROUND 3 DEMOLITION BOND LOAN PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret desires to apply for and obtain a loan from the New
Jersey Department of Community Affairs for approximately $859,633.00 to· carry out a
project to demolish structures in our Carteret Redevelopment Zone.
WHEREAS, the Borough Council does hereby authorize the application for such a loan;
and, upon receipt of the loan agreement from the New Jersey Department of Community
Affairs, does further authorize the execution of the agreement; and also, upon receipt of
the fully executed agreement from the Department, does further authoáze the expenditure
of funds pUrsuant to the terms of said agreement between the Borough of Carteret and the
New Jers~y Department of Community Affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret, County of Middlesex, and State of New Jersey authorize the persons whose
names, titles and signatures appear below are authorized to sign the application, the
agreement, and any other documents in connection therewith:

Adopted this 31 st day of March, 2005
and certified as a true copy the
original on April 1st, 2005.
