HomeMy Public PortalAbout10/22/68 Special CCM4;, The Council of the Village of Medina met in special session Tuesday, October 22, 1968 at 8:00 P. M. Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All members of the Council and Mr. Gubbins and Mr. Gyabrud present. The following bond bids were opened: Viper, Jaffray & Hopwood - Net interest cost $448,695.30 Net interest rate 5.20528 - Amount $710,287.20 Juran and Moody, Inc. - Net interest cost $446,675.00 Net interest rate 5.1818 - Amount $709,560.00 First National Bank of - Net interest cost $453,92�•75 St. Paul Net interest rate 5.26593 -Amount $711,360.00 Mr. Gubrud computerized the figures. Mr. Gubbins obtained $300.00 earnest money to pay to Fidel Theis on the $14,000.00 purchase price of 18.7r acres and 60 foot road for the ponding area. Harold Winterhalter introduced the following resoltuion and moved for its adoption awarding the $720,000.00 improvement bonds, prescribing the terms, form and details, and providing for their payment to Juran and Moody, Inc. at a cost of $446,675.00 and net interest rate of 5.1810 and the rate 6f. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson Motion carried. Moved by Rayburn Anderson that the Council give the Church of St. Anne a building permit to construct a Parish Rectory and Aministration building. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Roy LaRoux appeared with regard to building a garage. Moved by Raymond Bosch that we authorize the building inspector to tissue a building permit to Roy LaRoux to build a garage 24x26, att ched to the rear of his house. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter. Motion carried. Moved by Arthur Theis that the meeting adjourn. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:50 P. M. Clerk mayor r
