AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
AREA 9 IN-HOME & COMMUNITY SERVICES
WHEREAS, Area 9 In-Home & Community Services has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond desires to submit a grant application to assist with the costs associated with operating the Paratransit system.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The City of Richmond is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to Area 9 In-Home & Community Services to assist with the costs associated with operating the Paratransit system.
The City of Richmond is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Forty Thousand Seven Hundred Nineteen Dollars ($40,719.00).
Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated for assistance with the costs associated with operating the Paratransit system.
Passed and adopted this 19th day of March, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
