RESOLUTION NO. 89 -2887
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY SUPPORTING COMPLETION OF THE
LONG BEACH FREEWAY
WHEREAS, with the recommended improvements to the route
which would minimize the negative impacts, coupled with the
support of the responsible federal, state and local agencies, the
long- awaited completion of the Long Beach Freeway must now be
realized;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Temple City hereby supports the
completion of the Long Beach Freeway.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall send a certified copy hereof to the
Governor of the State of California, the Federal Highway Admini-
stration and the California Department of Transportation.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 1989.

I, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution, Resolution
No. 89 -2887 was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of
Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of July,
1989, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember- Atkins, Breazeal, Swain, Froehle
NOES: Councilmember - Gillanders
ABSENT: Councilmember -None
