RESOLUTION TO POST PARK CLOSED HOURS AND ELIMINATE OVERNIGHT
PARKING IN ALL CITY PARKS
Whereas, the City Council has realized that the City Parks within the City of Tiffin, Iowa
are to be used for recreational purposes and do have limits to the hours in which they
should be open for public uses, and;
Whereas, the City Council has realized a need to post park closed hours and to
eliminate overnight parking in all City Parks to be in the best interest for all its citizens,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize
the Public Works Department to order and place signs within all City Parks within the
City of Tiffin stating the same.
On the 22nd day of September, 2015, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Kahler introduced Resolution No. 2015-105, RESOLUTION
TO POST PARK CLOSED HOURS AND ELIMINATE OVERNIGHT PARKING IN ALL
CITY PARKS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson
Ryan.
Ayes: Bartels, Havens, Kahler, Ryan, Upton.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2015-105, RESOLUTION TO POST PARK CLOSED
HOURS AND ELIMINATE OVERNIGHT PARKING IN ALL CITY PARKS to be
adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 22nd day of September, 2015.
