MEDINA SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES OF OCTOBER 25, 2000
The City Council of Medina, Minnesota, met in special session on October 25, 2000, at 6:00
p.m. in the Wolsfeld Cabin. Mayor John Ferris presided.
Members present: Ferris, Johnson, Lane and Smith.
Members absent: Zietlow.
Also present: Police Chief Ed Belland, Public Works Director Jim Dillman, and Administrator -
Clerk -Treasurer Paul Robinson.
1. Approval of the Agenda
Moved by Carolyn Smith, seconded by Jim Lane, to approve the agenda. Motion passed
unanimously.
2. Performance Evaluations of Department Heads
A. Public Works Director - Meeting was closed for evaluation at 6:05 p.m. and reopened
at 7:48 p.m.
B. Police Chief - Meeting was closed for evaluation at 7:52 p.m. and reopened at 9:47
P.m.
C. Administrator -Clerk -Treasurer - Meeting was closed for evaluation at 9:50 p.m. and
reopened at 11:35 p.m.
4. Council Work Session Regarding 2001 Salary Budget and Organization
The Council discussed various issues relating to the salaries of employees for 2001 and the
organization of the City. Mayor Ferris was designated to present a summary of the discussion
at the next Council meeting.
5. Adjournment
Moved by Carolyn Smith, seconded by Jim Lane, to adjourn the meeting at 12:15 a.m. Motion
passed unanimously.
