RESOLUTION NO. 89 -2895
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION AND
PAYMENT OF COUNTY AID -TO- CITIES FUNDS FOR THE
MAINTENANCE OF SELECT SYSTEM STREETS
WHEREAS,the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain
monies to the City of Temple City as County Aid -to- Cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of
$36,032.00 of said funds accrued to the City of Temple City for
the maintenance of streets on the City's approved Select System.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
resolves that:
SECTION 1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to
allocate $36,032.00 of the Aid -to- Cities funds apportioned to the
City for the maintenance of those streets on the currently ap-
proved Select System of Streets (excluding State Highways), on
file with the California Department of Transportation, and incor-
porated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. After the allocation is approved by the Board of
Supervisors and funds are available, the County is requested to
send such allocated amount to the City. The City will begin
using the funds for the street maintenance according to the terms
of the allocation.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certi-
fied copy of this Resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Com-
missioner for processing.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution.

Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of August,
