Home My Public Portal AboutResolution 89-2897 Destruction of Records1 1 RESOLUTION NO. 89 -2897 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN CITY RECORDS. WHEREAS, Sections 34090 and 34090.7 of the Government Code authorize the destruction of City records upon approval of the legislative body of the City and with the written consent of the City Attorney provided that said records do not fall within certain specified categories and are not less than than two (2) years old; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested authority for the destruction of certain records which do not fall within the excepted categories and all of which are more than two (2) years old; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the records as listed on the attached Records Destruction Lists be destroyed in an appropriate manner. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of of this Resolution.
