RESOLUTION NO. 89 -2900
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMEND-
MENT 89 -2 TO REDESIGNATE THE SUBJECT PROPERTY
IDENTIFIED ON THE ATTACHED MAP LABELED EX-
HIBIT "A" FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO
COMMERCIAL
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City has amended its General
Plan in compliance with applicable portions of the California
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the public was noticed and given ample opportunity
to comment on the proposed amended General Plan during public
hearings conducted by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a duly noticed public
hearing on September 5, 1989, in accordance with State Law; and
WHEREAS, all testimony and comments received during the pub-
lic hearings held by the City have been given due consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Temple City finds that:
SECTION 1. An Environmental Impact Report prepared in ac-
cordance with State Law has been completed and certified on Janu-
ary 3, 1989 in substantial compliance with the California
Environmental Quality Act.
SECTION 2. The General Plan Amendment is hereby adopted and
the attached map shall be incorporated into the Land Use Element
of the General Plan.
SECTION 3. The subject properties delineated on the attached
map labeled Exhibit "A" are legally described as follows:
Lots 103, 104, the south 26 feet of Lot 105, and the east
16 feet of Lot 102 of Tract 3623, Book 40 Page 52 of Maps
as recorded in the Office of the Recorder, County of Los
Angeles, State of California.
SECTION 4. General Plan Amendment 89 -2 is approved based
upon the findings enumerated in Planning Commission Resolution
89- 1511PC.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
