RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT FOR WINDELS MAR.'C LANE & MITTENDORF, LLP
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional legal services for
various on going legal matters; and
WHEREAS, the law fim1 of Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP possess the
requisite skill and expertise for said services; and
WHEREAS, Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP has submitted a proposal to
provide said legal services at an initial maximum cost not to exceed $10,000.00;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal;
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has celiified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
I. That the proposal from Winde1s Marx Lane & Mittendorf,
LLP for to provide specialized legal services with regard to
various ongoing matters at a total cost not to exceed
$10,000.00 is hereby approved.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional
Services contract.
4. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the
Borough's Purchasing Department and Windels Marx Lane
& Mittendorf, LLP.
Adopted this 2"' day of June, 2005
and certified as a true copy of
the original on June 3, 2005.
