HomeMy Public PortalAbout061-2001 - Grant - IN Criminal Justice InstituteORDINANCE NO. 61 - 2001 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE INDIANACRIMINAL JUSTICE INSTITUTE GOVERNOR’S COUNCIL ON IMPAIRED AND DANGEROUS DRIVING PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute Governor’s Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving Program has grant funding available; and WHEREAS, the Richmond Police Department desires to submit a grant application to assist with funding for Operation Pullover Blitz 29, 30, 31, and 32. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: The Richmond Police Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to assist with funding for Operation Pullover Blitz 29, 30, 31 and 32. The Richmond Police Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred and Five Dollars and Eighty Cents Dollars ($17,605.80). Said funds, if awarded to the Richmond Police Department, shall be appropriated to assist with funding for Operation Pullover Blitz 29, 30, 31 and 32.
