AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH T&M ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, there exists a need for Specialized Engineering Services in
connection with user charges for the discharge from groundwater remediation
wells into the Carteret Borough sanitary sewer system by UNOCAL Corporation;
and
WHEREAS, Donald Norbut of T&M Associates possesses the requisite
experience and expertise to provide said Engineering Services; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. Donald Norbut of T&M Associates is hereby retained as Consulting
Engineering in the above referenced matter at an amount not to exceed
$3,50O.O0.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made as a Professional
Services Contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:ll-5(1)(a).
