. ENDORSING FY 2005 NJDOT ROADWAY

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex,
New Jersey are desirous of obtaining funding from the NJDOT Trust Fund Authority Act,
Fiscal Year 2005 Municipal Aid Program for a significant roadway reáabilitation project;
and .
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has authorized the Borough Engineer to recommend a
Roadway Category Grant Application for submittal for funding. under the FY 2005
NJDOT Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has recommended and prepared a Roadway Project
Application for Jackson Avenue to Carteret Avenue to the Woodbridge Township border;
and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has reviewed the above described Roadway Project
Application and has approved of the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Cqencil of the Borough
10f Cmieret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey that the Borough of Calieret
hereby endorses the submission of the above described FY 2005 NJDOT Roadway
Category Grant Application to the New Jersey Department of Transportation and that the
Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said application.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution along with three
signed copies of the application be forwarded to the Borough Engineer for submission to
the District Local Aid Office within the New Jersey TranspOliation.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 22, 2005.
