AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PARKING; AMENDING CHAPTER 7
OF TITLE 7 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL, IDAHO, BY
THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION 7-7-22A ESTABLISHING
MOTORIZED AND OFF -ROAD VEHICLE PARKING RULES AND
REGULATIONS IN PONDEROSA PARK; REQUIRING PERMITS
THEREFOR AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN STATE EMPLOYEES TO
ISSUE CITATIONS FOR VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Chapter 7 of Title 7 of the Village Code
of McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended by the
addition thereto of a NEW SECTION to be known and designated
as Section 7-7-22A of the Village Code of McCall, Idaho, and
to read as follows:
7-7-22A: 1. PONDEROSA PARK -PARKING RULES AND REGULATIONS:
In Ponderosa Park all motorized and off -road vehicles
shall stay on authorized established park roadways.
The drivers of all vehicles operated within such park
shall be licensed or certified as required under state
law for.the type of vehicle operated. Parking is only
allowed in designated areas.
2. PER:^ZIT REQUIRED. It shall be unlawful to park a
motorized or off -road vehicle in Ponderosa Park without
a current motorized vehicle entrance fee permit issued
by the Idaho State Department of Parks and Recreation
affixed thereto.
3. PARKING VIOLATION TICKETS -AUTHORIZATION TO ISSUE.
Within the boundaries of Ponderosa Park those employees
of the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation des-
ignated as special deputies pursuant to the provisions
of Rule IDAPA 26.01.2 of the Idaho Department of
Parks and Recreation and Section 67-2901(5), Idaho Code,
as well as members of the McCall Police Department
are hereby authorized to issue City of McCall marking
tickets for violation of this section.
